Pink Lion’s Mane™ is a rare Hericium erinaceus isolate originally discovered and stabilized by Prime Fungi. Unlike standard varieties that develop white fruiting bodies, this distinctive selection produces a soft pink to blush coloration that gives it a unique appearance within the genus.
Under suitable conditions, the fruiting body develops cascading spines and a recognizable Lion’s Mane structure. Color intensity and form may vary with temperature, humidity, maturity, and fresh air exchange. The deepest coloration is generally visible before full maturity and may gradually fade as the spines lengthen.
This variety is valued for vigorous development, unusual pigmentation, and dependable fruiting characteristics. It is well suited for specialty fungal projects, comparative Hericium studies, photography, educational projects, fungal collections, production trials, and advanced mycology work.
