Inoculated wooden birch dowels are size 5/16 x 1

Chaga is best grown using living birch trees. It will also grow from living ash, elm, beech, alder, aspen, and hornbeam. Young healthy trees around 10 inches in diameter are preferred.

It will be approximately 6-8 years before you will be able to harvest your Chaga.
